Back to School

Though Premier Doug Ford remains confident about the reopening plan for September, many parents and students are concerned that health and safety precautions have not been one of the main priorities.

CTV News announced that, "Elementary school children in kindergarten through to Grade 8 will return to school five days per week across Ontario for a full day, which includes recess and lunch, with no changes to class sizes." The question here is: How will social distancing measures be taken with 25 students in each classroom? Will the return of 700 public school classrooms cause another spike - a second wave?

What all of us begin to ask ourselves is whether or not this action was taken too soon. Without a vaccine in place and no sign of steady decline in confirmed cases across the province, we are uncertain of what is to come.

What are your thoughts on reopening schools in September 2020?
